2. Visiting the website

When you open our pages, our hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data (e.g. IP address, date, page requested) to deliver the page and operate it securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not embed fonts, trackers or advertising services from third parties.

3. Cookies and local storage

We only use technically necessary storage: a session cookie when you log in, a cookie that remembers your language choice, and your browser's local storage for your cart and delivery country. No consent is needed for this.

4. Customer account

If you create an account we store your email address, optionally your name, and your password as a hash, in order to show you your orders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can also log in with Google. In that case we receive your email address and name from Google, and Google learns that you log in with us. The Google login is only loaded when you click the button.

5. Order, payment and shipping

To process your order we use your name, delivery address, email, optionally your phone number, and the order data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For payment we pass the order data to PayPal; the PayPal script is only loaded on the checkout page. For delivery we pass your name, address and, if necessary, email and phone number to PostNord and their delivery partners. We send you order and shipping confirmations by email.

6. Storage period

We keep order data for as long as commercial and tax law requires. We delete your customer account on request, unless statutory retention duties prevent it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to us at hallo@elchips.de. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
